Full Landscape Redesign
Lost Creek Landscapes recently completed a full landscape design and build project at the home of professional football player Chris Cooley in the Leesburg, VA area.
The project focused on the complete renovation of the back of the property that included a 750 square foot pool, a 1200 square foot composite deck with cedar railings and a 3600 square foot random pattern, multi-level, copper bay flagstone patio. The patio features an outdoor bar with beverage cooler and cedar pergola.
The custom swimming pool features a vanishing edge and raised bond beam with sheer descent. The interior uses a midnight blue pebble tech finish. The pool also has an 8 foot circular heated spa that is operated by a Jandy Control System. The project didn’t end with the hardscape and stone masonry elements, including an 80 square foot natural sand beach with fire pit.
The landscape consisted of a variety of trees, shrubs and perennial plants. Lost Creek Landscape designers planted 35 trees including river birch, crape myrtle and star magnolias, 300 shrubs including purple sand cherry and red twig dogwood and over 1000 perennials including purple cone flowers and hostas.
The project was finished by adding a variety of outdoor lighting fixtures to highlight the landscaping at night. The landscape lighting included over 100 low voltage lighting fixtures that included deck and stair lighting, tree uplighting, hardscape and masonry lighting as well as recessed stone light fixtures.
In addition, Lost Creek Landscapes renovated the landscaping in the front yard with new planting beds and outdoor lighting.
Lost Creek Landscapes is a full service landscape design and build firm that specializes in hardscape and stonework projects. Our designers are certified by the American Society of Landscape Architects and serve Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and Maryland.
